I woke up this morning, wished you were there
The smell of your coffee coming up my stairs
A song on the radio reminds me of you
I hear you playing, your guitar it fills the room
I miss you
I jumped in the shower, to cool this desire
All of this longing has my heart on fire
Live for the moment, that’s what you always say
But sometimes the moments seem just too far away
Although it’s only three more days until
Time moves so slow, almost as if it’s standing still

Lately I can barely drag my feet out of this bed
I just lie there dreaming with you safe inside my head

I close my eyes so I can make believe you’re here
